Er...I've seen better videos I have to say.
-there's a whole glut of these videos, -mainly northern soul and the like - on the web. Presumably made by vinyl fetishists? A little strange I must admit.
how did L's sojourn in Paris go; hope that she found some accomodation. Its a pity that my mates couldn't be more help.
She was fine thanks Alastair. But in future she'll have to sort out accomodation properly. I reckon a camper van.
And why R Dean Taylor? Any reason?
I'm a fan of his track ' There's a Ghost in my House'- a sort of lost Motown classic, ( and the cover version by the mighty Fall ).
Another Motown track that seems to have got away would be 'The Night' by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. I like the slightly unhinged subject matter which seems at odds with the perfect pop production. ( See also ' Seven Rooms of Gloom ' by the Four Tops . )
